Orange High Summer Baseball Camps Where players learn the fundamentals.
    
The 2007 hitting camp was very sucessful. Forty-five participants learned the fundamentals and mechanics of hitting from various college and professional players as well and college, high school and middle school coaches. Matt McCay, assistant baseball coach at UNC, and Chris Maples, professional player with the Detroit Tigers, offered outstanding information. McCay, Maples and Josh Horton, professional player with the Oakland A's, gave an awesome demonstration of situational hitting.

The 2007 Orange High Summer Baseball Camp was a great success.
We had 75 young baseball players attend our 16th annual camp during the week of June 25-28. Thank you to the parents
who allowed their sons and daughter to attend camp. Special thanks to the Orange High baseball players who worked so
hard in the hot sun to make the kids' week so special. We appreciate former Orange players Matt Roberts, Brett
Andrews, Jared Kernodle and Josh Horton for their help. Thanks to Coach Reynolds, Travis Braxton, Melissa Knight
and Shane Vickers. Congratulations to Mia Davidson for being our "Camper of the Week".
